Being a volunteer is as much a part of the curling centre experience as throwing rocks on the ice. The members of the Yellowknife Curling Centre appreciate all our volunteers and their contributing effort to make the Centre what it is. Simply put, we can’t curl without you.
Much of our fundraising is due to the time our volunteers put into running the bar, assisting with events and getting involved in the Bingos and other activities. The Yellowknife Curling Centre members wishes to demonstrate our appreciation by rewarding all our volunteers with membership rebates and participation in our Volunteer Appreciation evening at the end of the year where we will be crowning the King or Queen of the House. The King/Queen of the House is an opportunity for us to show our appreciation for our volunteers and recognize people who have gone beyond the call of duty to help the YCC.
